Zawiyah Post

A desktop publishing tool for the Zawiyah al-Qudwah channel.

What it does

Zawiyah Post runs on the channel owner's own computer. It keeps a queue of the channel's finished videos, each with its caption and planned time, and publishes every video to the channel's own TikTok account and YouTube channel when its time arrives.

How it works with TikTok

  1. The channel owner signs in with TikTok (Login Kit) and approves the app.
  2. The tool reads the account's basic profile (display name and avatar) to show which account is connected.
  3. At the planned time the tool uploads the video file and its caption with the Content Posting API (Direct Post), using the privacy setting the owner chose.
  4. The tool checks the post status and records the result in its local queue.

How it works with YouTube

  1. The channel owner signs in with Google and approves the app.
  2. The tool reads the channel's name and video list (youtube.readonly) to show which channel is connected and to confirm that an upload appeared.
  3. The tool uploads the video with its title and description (youtube.upload) through the YouTube Data API and sets its planned publish time.

Zawiyah Post uses YouTube API Services. By using it the owner agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Who uses it

Only the owner of the Zawiyah al-Qudwah channel, to post the channel's own content. It is not offered to the public and it does not post to anyone else's account.
